One point margin seem to be the fate of our senior team. C.I.T was the venue for our Senior quarter final against Inniscarra on Friday night last. One of the most miserable nights in many months it was too, slipping and sliding was the order of the night.

Laura Treacy opened our scoring with a point, Inniscarra got three on the trot after that. Angela Walsh ,Hannah Looney (2)and Mary O Connor all got points. Our backs Marie Smiddy Aoife Walsh and Niamh o Keeffe were keeping out great pressure .Inniscarra got their fourth point. Jessica o Shea was working well around midfield. Ang took a Laura pass all the way over the bar .Chloe Sigerson was showing maturity beyond her years and passed a lovely ball to Hanna which she drove to the back of the net.. Inniscarra showed their dominance in the last five minutes by throwing over three points to leave the half time score 1-6 to 7 points in our favour

Two quick goals after the restart were to be our downfall, and a further point was added on to that before we  were to reply with a point from Angela. Kate pointed a free, yet again Inniscarra had two points. Stefanie Beausang continued to bat out some great high balls. Kate and Ann Marie Walsh both pointed .The pressure was on ,everybody was digging deep, Jessisa and Angela both got points but on yet another occasion time ran out for us.

The final score 2-10 to 1 -12 in favour of Inniscarra
